Nursery Rework Megathread

Here's a full list of TODOs related to the Nursery:

childrenReport.js

  • add Matron and nanny effects
  • refactor fetish change effects (multiple repeating statements)
  • add education system
  • rewrite Matron-child intelligence effects flavor text
  • add fitness system
  • add friend / rivalry system (model after existing system?)
  • add relations to friend system
  • write flavor text for friend / rivalry system
  • rework weight system
  • rework muscles system
  • add effects for children younger than 3 (or minimumSlaveAge?)

nurseryReport.js

  • double check numbers to make sure they make sense
  • add more cases to Nursery decoration living rules

fChildWidgets.js

  • write scenes
  • tie into actX() and total arcology sex counts

childSummary.js

  • double check "pregnancy overdue" check
  • will children be able to get pregnant?

longChildDescription.js

  • desc is marked for some reason, not too sure why
  • tattoo text for young (>13yo) slaves?
  • possibly add child prestige?
  • rewrite skills section to sound more natural (may end up refactoring out to use with regular slaves as well)
  • height section may need to have numbers tweaked for younger slaves
  • will children be able to get married?
  • rework belly descriptions to use DOM

longInfantDescription.js

  • add infant art (possible without Deepmurk?)

nurseryUtils.js

  • infantToChild() may need some more work (may try to replace it with a for...in loop)

  • update Encyclopedia for children
  • fix customization facilities

  • will children be able to be inflated?
  • family tree renderer may need to be updated
  • will the RA work with children in the Nursery?
  • move wardrobe options to a new passage

  • tie in Slimness Enthusiast decoration to food system

  • potentially rewrite Statuesque Glorification flavor text to avoid repetition

nurseryRetrievalWorkaround.tw

  • potentially add grown organs to newly-released child

The SugarCube files will mostly all be completely reworked into JS. I'll have to look into whether or not I can get rid of them completely, but if not, then they'll just be the "glue" files that holds the facility together.

A large portion of the TODOs above are extremely outdated and will mostly be gotten rid of as I redo the Nursery.

There's also things that aren't on this list that I'm sure I'll think of as I work on this.
