[Important] Some particles aren't being properly removed

Some particles aren't being properly removed, resulting on them lingering around forever.

This can easily be seem by having an enemy use flash in the fog of war. Then, after waiting out a couple seconds, when you come close, the particle effect will play out as it comes into vision.

This probably has a big impact on performance as the game goes on and these particles keep adding up.
