Windows Basic theme is partially broken when a game is running

Description

When a game is launched, the theme switches from Aero to Basic as intended for the taskbar, but everything else (such as the Start menu, volume window, window decorations, etc.) retain the Aero visual style but with an opaque black background.

I think this has been broken since the KDE 6 update. I've been meaning to report it, but I kept forgetting to do so.

Running endeavourOS with all the latest updates and dependencies installed. Running on the x11 AeroThemePlasma desktop session. This happens on multiple PCs using the same OS. Also happens with both NVIDIA and AMD graphics cards if that's relevant.
