Loop - Stuck in end of the week report event error

Loading the attached save file will open the end of the week report. The page will be stuck in a loop after the birthing events of the slaves. There are also errors about missing/incorrect variables in the arcology report. I am unable to apply the Backwards compatibility tools due to the loop.

Saving during the end of week is a bad idea. Yes, it can become impossible to backcompat from that situation. Hopefully you have an earlier save (made from main menu or somewhere else where you have freedom of movement) available.

BC is mostly function based now, right? It may be possible to force the game to run the function via browser console. No idea if it would fix it, though.

No, that just creates a link, not what you want. Try SugarCube.Engine.play("Backwards Compatibility") and then with "Main" to get back out of it. This does effectively end the week though, not sure about side effects.

Alternatively look at src/data/backwardsCompatibility/BackwardsCompatibility.tw and run every JS call IN ORDER: For example <<= App.Update.oldVersions()>> means you run App.Update.oldVersions() in console. Everything that starts with App. is a call you have to run.
