make (user) themes persist trough page reloads

With this we have everything we need for a proper theming system I believe, so "all" we need to do is convert our CSS files into something you can easily style. My goal for now is to turn the light mode into a simple CSS file instead of the hack it is right now. Fist step is changing all colors to var, because that's basically all light mode needs.
