typo fixes and misc

there were often double spaces due to the way that App.Events.addParagraph works so i think i fixed it? if i broke something feel free to revert that. i also adjusted wording in a few places and fixed a link in the documentation.

also i barely know how git works so if i did something wrong i would appreciate pointers or tips.
